In January 2008, Kaleo Fellowship opened its doors in northwest Bakersfield, a quickly growing landscape of commercial and residential development in Kern County, 90 minutes from Los Angeles.

Bakersfield is an explosion of young families of all types, with a large part of the population in high school or below.  Studio K, along with the many fine youth groups in Bakersfield is striving to be a place where teens can find positive role models, answers to questions, and friends who will provide accountability and encouragement.

Studio K acknowledges the impact of media on today's society and especially on our youth.  Part of our journey will be taking a deeper look at what the world and Hollywood offer, in comparision to what God teaches us about the same issues.  We even look to create our own Chrisitan perspective media through the creativity and skills of our members.  Thus the name, "Studio K."
